Brominating tablets when used as directed are effective as a swimming pool sanitizer and disinfectant.
Directions for Use:
1. Chemically balance the pool.
2. Superchlorinate the pool water by adding 8 - 10 ppm free available chlorine using a non-stabilized product such as Omni Breakout (calcium hypochlorite) or Breakout 35 (lithium hypochlorite).
3. Establish a bromine reading of 1.0 - 2.0 ppm by starting flow through filled brominator.
4. Adjust the brominator feed rate as needed to assure a constant bromine level of 1.0 - 3.0 ppm in residential pools and 3.0 - 5.0 ppm in commercial pools. |
