Foam is caused but body fat and oils going into the water and the hot water and agitaion cause foaming.  You can use enzymes to control the oils but you will still need to keep some defoamer on hand to take away the foam that occurs in all spas.  Just a small squirt will eliminate the the foam while using your spa.

NOTE:  Use enzyme removers on a weekly basis to control the oils in the water.
