Polaris is now owned by Zodiac Pool Care, who also owns Clearwater alt Water Chlorinators and Jandy.  Zodiac is a French Company.  They purchased Polaris which formally had purchased Autoclear from Clear Tech a few years ago.  Formally Cleartech also made Kreepy Klears and Pure and Clear Chlorinators.   All Chlorinators are self Cleaning.
