Also available in: 12 x 1-Quart and 4 x1-Gallon cartons, 5-Gallon, 15-Gallon and 55-Gallon polyethylene drums with standard bung openings, and 275-Gallon IBC containers.
SC-1000 Scale Control & Metal Chelant is a proprietary, patent pending, non-phosphorus containing aqueous formulation for control of carbonate scale and metals staining in recreational water systems.Applied as directed, SC-1000 is compatible with materials of pool and spa construction, and othertreatment chemicals applied in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. SC-1000 is especially effective at controlling salt water generator (SWG) electrode scale formation without contributing ortho-phosphates to the water which inhibit chlorine sanitation and act as nutrients for algae growth.

To ensure continued protection against scale formation and metalstaining, the following maintenance dose should be applied: calcium hardness less than 300 ppm – six (6) ounces per 10,000 gallons every one to two months; calcium hardness greater than 300 ppm – six (6) ounces per 10,000 gallons every month.
HANDLING & STORAGE SC-1000 is inherently stable with an indefinite shelf life under normal conditions of storage at temperaturesless than 120ºF. Prevent freezing to avoid container damage and loss of product. Though SC-1000 isnontoxic and non-hazardous, gloves and appropriate eye protection should be worn when handling andusing the product.
